Case Study · Miller Harris
Custom Shopify theme development for Miller Harris, London's luxury fragrance house. Gift-with-purchase flows, international delivery logic, mobile UX, and ongoing storefront maintenance.
Overview
Miller Harris is a British fragrance house, founded in London in 2000 and known for its couture approach to perfumery. We work with them on their Shopify storefront, covering front-end development and UX across the live site. The work ranges from new customer-facing features to the small refinements that keep a luxury shopping experience feeling considered.
The Challenge
Miller Harris needed their online store to carry the same care that goes into their fragrances. The cart did a lot of that work. Gift wrapping, gift-with-purchase offers, international delivery, and free sample thresholds all had to sit together without confusing the customer or slowing anything down. Several of these features touched the same stage of checkout, so any change risked visual glitches, wrong pricing, or products being added and removed in the wrong combinations.

The Solution
We built a custom gift-with-purchase picker into the cart drawer, with logic to check stock, keep pricing correct, and stay steady on screen while the cart updates. Gift wrapping was paired with its ribbon product so the two always move as one, and the layout was reworked to hold up on mobile. For international shoppers, we localised delivery messaging by currency and added multi-store support so the same features run across regions. Around the larger pieces, we handle ongoing maintenance as the store grows.
The Results
The store now offers a gifting and checkout experience that matches the brand. Customers get a clear, reliable gift and delivery flow wherever they shop from, and Miller Harris has a development partner who knows their codebase and can turn new work around quickly.
